Product Description
A medium protein grain mixture is most suitable when milk is fed freely. A grain mixture of oats - 35 percent, linseed cake - 5 percent, bran - 30 percent, barley - 10 percent, groundnut cake - 20 percent may be fed to the calves. Another good mixture consists of ground maize - 2 parts, wheat bran - 2parts.Examples of Kharif crops are rice, maize, cotton, soybean, etc. Jowar and bajra are the main Kharif crops, which are used as cattle feed. Generally, the plant stalks of bajra are fed to cattle, and jowar is primarily grown as fodder in several parts of the country.
Feldherr “ produces a huge fresh yield of low dry matter roots. Feldherr is ideal for feeding to dairy cows but makes excellent feed for ewes that can handle the low dry matter roots. Feldherr can be harvested but is an ideal grazing variety.
